Building Management Systems are micro processor outstations that can be configured to provide bespoke control solutions for heating, ventilating, air conditioning or process control.

The systems can then be viewed and/or adjusted via user friendly interface mediums such as Embedded Web Sites, Animated PC Screens or by simple panel mounted Keypads.

Standard functions of these machines include Temperature Histories, Plant Switching Histories, Metering, Hours Run, Duty Standby, Analogue and Digital Plant Control, Compensation, Optimisation and Alarm Monitoring and Handling.

Optimisation  The system "learns" how quickly a building warms up or cools down, then enables the heating plant accordingly.

Compensation  The system automatically varies the radiator temperature with respect to the outside air temperature. (The radiators get hotter as outside gets colder)

ECO Masters  The system can automatically shut down the heating or chilling plant when the outside air passes the relevant  setpoints and/or dates. The heating and cooling plant can also be run "on demand" only.

Sequencing The system can sequence multiple plant stages on boilers, chillers etc, to provide smooth and efficient control, that will also reduce the maintenance required on that plant.
